Red Flags: Recognising Signs of Concern

  • Double Vision
  • Weakness or Tingling/Burning in arms or legs
  • Severe or Increasing Headache
  • Seizure or Convulsions
  • Deteriorating Conscious State
  • Vomiting
  • Increasingly Restless, Agitated or Combative

These signs may suggest potentially serious conditions such as brain swelling, brainstem or spinal canal swelling, brain damage, ligament damage in the upper neck, or cervical fractures.
