Lara is a Neurological and Vestibular Physiotherapist who completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree in the United Kingdom in 2009.  Lara has always had a passion for Neurology and after completing her core rotations of Physiotherapy practice at St Georges Hospital in London, she specialised in the field of Neurology in 2012 and continued to work at St Georges as a Senior Physiotherapist in Neurosciences.  In this position, Lara developed her therapeutic skills and gained extensive experience in the assessment and management of a wide range of neurological conditions with rotations through all areas of Neurology and Neurosurgery across a variety of clinical settings.

Since moving to the Sunshine Coast in 2016 Lara has enjoyed working in Private practice managing a complex caseload of patients with Neurological and Vestibular presentations.  With this combined experience, Lara has also developed a special interest in the management of Concussion and has completed both national and international courses in this area.  Lara has expanded on her formal education through the attendance of numerous advanced courses both in the UK and Australia, in the areas of Neurological and Vestibular physiotherapy, in addition to attendance at conferences and the participation in several special interest groups.  Lara is passionate about the rehabilitation of patients and highly values the importance of multidisciplinary team work to ensure holistic and goal orientated patient care.
